Effective Altruism

I am interested in questions that focus on impartially improving welfare. I am increasingly focused on research that is important, neglected, and tractable, with a long-term view of the future.

I have taken the Giving What We Can pledge to donate at least 10% of my income to the most effective causes. The best summary of my views on effective altruism is this article I published on the ABC. For longtermism, see my review of What We Owe the Future in The Conversation

   3. Survey of COVID-19 Responses to Understand Behaviour (SCRUB) and derivative papers (e.g., Bradshaw et al., 2021)
